[dba-Tech] Microsoft confirms it's dropping Windows 8.1 support?

I think you read it a bit too quickly. What MS means is that they want us
to upgrade from Windows 8 or 8.1 and install the free update 1 to Windows
8.1, which will then become the subsequent baseline.
