Try this, where all the numbers are typed on the NumPad: ALT+0233 = é ALT+0201 = É ALT+0128 = € For any others that you don't know, use the charmap app, and click on the letter/symbol in question. In the bottom right corner you will see the ALT code to type if there is one available and not all are.
