Here is an interesting program that will allow you to create your own virtualizations on your desktop.

Unlike big web server based products like Docker, this product has a small brother. Below is a paragraph explaining the product:

"By combining two virtualization technologies under one platform, Proxmox VE is giving maximum flexibility to your professional virtual environment. Use full virtualization for Windows and Linux images, and containers to run conflict-free Linux applications." 

Of course as you would suspect the product in Linux focused but I would think that it would be easy to install in Hyper-V, at least for the GUI, as much of HV's core is from the Linux kernel. Proxmox uses the built-in Linux Kernel-based Virtual Machine (KVM): http://www.linux-kvm.org/page/Main_Page 

Unlike virtual drives the over-head of KVM products have a much smaller foot-print, are much faster to implement and run at almost core speed.
