The current Linux platforms, a decade later, are far more sophisticated and limitations that existed then are gone. IMHO, an individual would be hard pressed to find many or any functionality that does not exist in Linux but that is not true for alternative platforms...Linux's more esoteric features of course presumes a better or advanced knowledge of systems in general but to the group present that is hardly an obstacle.
