As far as I know, I'm not using a proxy server; in fact, I'm not sure what a proxy server is. The desktop beside my laptop is working fine. As far as I know, I haven't done a single thing to the laptop that may have caused this. I don't know where the proxy server settings might be, but assuming that I find them, can I simply delete whatever I see there and go back to the way things were?
