[dba-Tech] Our future is Docker and CoreOS

Hi All:

We have all been listening to some of the chatter about Docker and CoreOS and many have been wondering how or even if it will affect us. The following article answers that question. Managed by the Linux Foundation, it seems that most of the major players, in the computer market today, are on-board with universal standards in implementation and design, in the new Open Container Project (OCP). It will be implemented on all platforms. Any of us who plan to be in the industry, in more than five years, better get up to speed...a very exciting development:
