Hi John

I don't have the detailed specifications for those routers, but it appears that you hit the maximum bandwidth on the WAN side of these cheap routers.

You may need a more expensive router with a confirmed WAN bandwidth specification.

Prioritet: Høj

Hi All,
A cable modem, dynamic IP, with a speed of 60Mbps.
Check the speed with PC direct connect to modem 60+Mbps.
Check the speed with modem > router > PC 60+Mbps.

Change to a cable modem, static IP, with a speed of 100 Mbps.
Check the speed with PC direct connect to modem 100+Mbps.

When connected to the TP-Link TL-WR842ND router can only got 90Mbps tops (only one device connected to router).
Try a NETGEAR RangeMax WNDR3300 router I can only get 90Mbps tops.
I check and all firmware is up to date.
Settings in order. But I could be missing something. Any suggestions?

TIA
John B
