I'm sure it does HTML but I've never used it for that, but I can highly recommend Notepad++ for all coding/scripting work.

Subject: [dba-Tech] html editor

Would someone please recommend a free, stable html editor? I was using Arachnaphilia, but it just stopped working -- no explanation, no errors. It loads, it just won't do anything. I uninstalled, reinstalled... even started from scratch with Java, which it requires. Nothing.

So, I guess I need a new one -- free is nice. I don't use it that much and certainly not in a development environment -- just for editing html files.

Right now I'm stuck using Word, which totally sucks as an html editor.
