Does anyone ever consider that these apps do their own tracking?

Someone on the list just recommended Ghostery and I'm using it now.  Seems transparent. I have no idea if it's actually doing anything, though. :) I assume it's working as advertised.

Also using uBlock Origin.  Both on Firefox.

Hi all

On my Windows 8.1 setup I had - in addition to AdBlock Plus - installed a tracking blocker for Internet Explorer. However, I've forgot the name.
From time to time it slided in from the status bar (down, right corner) a status windows of what had been blocked.

Do you know the name, or do you use a tracking blocker to recommend?
