Good news.

Microsoft has produced its first Linux distro. Whether its desktop will be so converted is yet to be seen but as of now there is an Open Source Linux distro designed for connected to it Azure Cloud.

So far the product is only available, internally to the MS network and the interface is targeting specific applications but once released it will be reviewed, forked and improved.
