[dba-Tech] Another OS but different

I think Microsoft's Smartphone is definitely ahead in video management. Just for that alone, the Lumia 1020, might warrant a closer look.

Probably the Lumia 1020. The main camera has 41 Mp.

You can take a picture of a distant object and then zoom in to see detail you couldn't see at all with your own eyes.

Hi Shamil:

It seems that there are a number of companies and individuals working in this direction. I think it is an idea who's time has come.

I hear the Lumia (I am not sure of the model...maybe it all models) has an excellent camera built in...best in the business I hear.

Jim

 Hi Jim --

Yes, it looks interesting.

BTW, Microsoft Lumia 950 with Win10 (I have got it purchased last week) has the same feature - it is able to be docked to a large screen and to an external real keypad and to have its Windows Universal Apps (including Office suite apps) adapted their UI "automagically". I haven't tried it yet - purchasing the docking hardware (a small box) is the next step for me planned for this March.

Thank you.

-- Shamil
