Same problems here.  Edge is, in my opinion, less useful than the Win 8's IE tile program, and that was slow and prone to freezing.  It is terrible in playing back YouTube videos -- many times the sound is completely garbled and requires a page reload, and reload again before sound is recognizable.

I also have problems with both Firefox and Chrome freezing up in Win 10, though Chrome less so than Firefox.  

Regardless, it's enough problems to finally have driven me to use Linux Mint full-time at home.  Right now at work, we are still using Window 7, however, I hear that a corporate switch to Win 10 is in the works.  Shudder!!

Doesn't do things I need done, doesn't work at all well as the default PDF reader win 10 sets it up as. Ain't ready for prime time. I use Chrome (v48), problem-free, syncs bookmarks across all win & android devices, who could ask for more?
