There is now a Raspberry Pi hard drive built for a Pi version 3, by western digital. Check the following out: http://bit.ly/1R4FPfL Now you can actually boot from the drive and maybe support a fairly decent database. Maybe test a MariaDB or a MongoDB with Nodejs? Jim
