[dba-Tech] Web app discussion

I have a small Access Web App that I need to convert to something else. For
now, using a desktop db is fine. But, I know that others in the organization
are eventually start asking for access and I'd like to be proactive about
this. "sure. here's a link." instead of "That's going to take some time." 

 

I have no web development skills. I do have a Sharepoint site (comes with my
365 E3 sub). 

 

Where do I start? This is a simple tracking app so I don't need a lot - I
know that in the db business there's no such thing as "I don't need a lot."
but I think you understand. This isn't an enterprise, mission-level db. I'm
tracking stuff; that's it. 

 

I'm glad to learn a new skill, but I need something I can actually learn and
implement - I edit web development books and I swear. all the little
"things" you have to "just know." are daunting.
