Further, I think this list or tech recommended BitDefender as good, free anti-ransomware product.  But I forgot to reload it when I went to W10. 

I'm running Avast which says they're watching out for ransomware.  

What's the current best free anti-ransomware monitor?  

Does Windows Defender do it?
