Hi Gustav:

Does the program automatically check subdirectories? Of course I could have had absolutely no errors in my JavaScript code. ;-)

Hi Jim

At one site I tested, a JavaScript error was reported, so - at least to some extend - yes.

Hi Gustav:

Thanks for the link Gustav. Apparently, against popular belief, I have never had a problem generating errors.

The scanner did detect many header errors, every image oversize error, every hack work around from the days of MS browsers but not one code error? Does the scanner have the ability to check JavaScript and CSS code errors?

Hi all

That's easy now:

    https://blogs.windows.com/msedgedev/2017/10/25/introducing-sonar-site-scanner/#2ZXTGK44XyFyVXBW.97

and the Sonar Scanner site:

    https://sonarwhal.com/scanner

It will probably list a lot of errors but don't be scared - a lot these errors are very minor or about optimizing.
