Can try that. Mostly on office pro on it. Its weird. Did think there must be hidden windows update files etc somewhere.

So it's programs? 52GB of software?

If so I would uninstall enough of them to get the update done and then reinstall them. Is that practical?

Can you just use a USB drive and copy off 8-16GB of stuff and restore it later?

Hi Martin

Start with Disk Cleanup (drive C:, Properties) and click "Clean up system files". When ready calculating, mark everything to delete.

I have surface pro 2. Nothing stored on it. I need to recover as much disc space as I can. At least 10gb. Any ideas?
