1. Just played with the new Ubuntu 18.04 Mate beta and was very impressed on its screen management. At a friend's place, attached the updated computer to both its monitor and a 65 inch 4K TV. It just booted up and recognized both screens and application menus could be dragged from one surface to the other with no apparent loss in quality or performance:

2. Sumsung is moving its products from Android Linux (cell phones) and migrating to Tizen Linux. Their TV have been using Tizen for years but by next year they will replace Android:

3. The latest version of Jolla or Sailfish ISO has been released. The Linux OS was thought to be dead but fans have not abandoned it and now we have Sailfish version 3. Now there is now a feature phone, Sony’s Xperia XA2. The Sailfish OS is available for all major Operating Systems:
