TigerDirect had (maybe still has) a sale on Samsung SSD. A 500gb was $89. That's with it just to replace any conventional drives you have.

They' $100 on Amazon. Three years ago that bought 2tb. I can fill half of it with music & film backups, and for growth you want 50% headroom so 4tb is just about right.
