[dba-Tech] Extracting Auto Complete Emil Address from Gmail

I would like to extract from Gmail all of the contacts that appear in the
autocomplete list.
POn the web I'm given the advice that starts with:

Click the "Gmail" drop-down menu in the navigation pane on the left after
logging in to your account. Select "Contacts."

But I have no Gmail drop down menu on the navigation pane.  Maybe that's
left over from a previous Gmail UI?

Anyway, can somebody please tell me how this can be done?
