Ed,
Older versions of Outlook (< 2016) are no longer supported and most servers now require Modern Authentication. I'd contact your provider and have them walk you through this.

Let me try to explain more clearly.  Verizon stopped their email service a number of years ago and they did something that would allow Verizon email go to AOL and have the email show in Outlook.  That worked nicely for a few years.  Suddenly on July 14 email stopped going to Outlook.  It shows in AOL but not in Outlook.  So I think there are settings that in the right combination would get this working again but I can't figure it out.
