[dba-Tech] Woe is me

Ah, Susan! I should have thought of that. My only excuse is that I turned
75 a month ago. 😀 It's the greatest excuse *ever*! People forgive me for
forgetting their names, forgetting to do stuff... it's great! There are a
few downsides, such as lower back pain, the occasional stroke, etc., but
all in all, old age beats the alternative.
I did a reset, electing to keep my files but nuking everything else. First
thing I installed was SQL 2019 Developer Edition, and it worked. So the big
headache has gone away.
There's more to install, of course. As I write this, MS 365 is midway into
installation. As soon as it's done, I'll create a restore point, and over
the rest of the weekend, lazily reinstall various other items, such as
MZ-Tools. I don't know how an Access developer could live without that.
Anyway, thanks for the slap on the side of my head, Susan. Much
appreciated.
