I read through the specs earlier today, but I don't actually compare them to
my current system, so I don't know whether I can upgrade or not. I'll spend
more time on that later. I hope I don't run into that problem.

The thing is that they aren't. They're no more than 3 years old. But
Microsoft came up with some arbitrary specs that Win11 won't support, and I
personally don't see why we need to upgrade just to make Microsoft feel good
about themselves.
