[dba-Tech] Protection for phones

I hate the two-level authentication because I leave my phone all over the
place -- mostly because I rarely use it at home too. I still have a one
account that lets me choose between email and phone.
I'm having more requests to send $$ using the cash apps that we talked about
a few weeks ago. I don't really want to do it that way, but ... they don't
even want money orders in the mail -- too much trouble to deposit. People
want cash straight in their accounts.

Now you know my vice.

I'm kind of an outlier in that respect. I use my phone very little. I
don't use it for transactions. I don't like to do stuff on the internet. I
don't read email on my phone. The screen is too small.
If I'm home, I don't need to use the phone for anything. QAnd I'm home most
of the time. If I'm out I don't want to be bothered with the phone.
I use it for GPS, I'm being forced to use it for two factor authentication.
And, in spite of my best efforts, I'm being dragged into texting.
So I don't have a need for AV on my phone. I know, dinosaur. But I wonder if
I need it? I don't think I do, but I'm open to hearing differently.
