Dear Lists:

One of my pet peeves is writing an email and then entering the To address
using autofill - a very useful feature.

If I have gotten emails from more than one of someone's email address, 50%
of the time I get an email from them telling me I'm not using their
preferred email address.

Problem is, I can't find where in Gmail these duplicate addresses are
stored so I can delete the one the recipient doesn't want me to use.

Does anyone know where they are?

Go to Google Contacts (contacts.google.com) and you should see two or 
more entries with the same name. 

Delete the one(s) you don't want.

Well that was my first guess but I didn't see those duplicates in my
contacts. But digging a little deeper under "Other Contacts" there they
were!
