[dba-VB] AfterUpdate equivalent

Hello All:

I'm grinding my way through my first VB.Net program.  One of the (many)
surprises I've had is the lack of AfterUpdate events for controls, in
particular, for a text box.  Can the  LostFocus event be used safely as an
equivalent?
