Hello Max, thanks for that, If I understand what you have said correctly, he would have to install dreamweaver - did I get that right ? I am currently considering installing an ODBC and allowing him to build queries through linked tables in MS Access, then once he has built the table, I will show him how to copy the SQL and drop it into a pass-through query. For queries that he uses more than once, I will show him how to either create an sproc or a view depending on whether there are criteria to be supplied. Anyone any thoughts on that? On a further note for anyone else reading this thread, on further review (an additional five minutes), I noticed that EnginSite does have a diagram model for building multi-table queries, so that would be an option for someone that does not have Access, however, in my case, I think Access will be good enough.
