[dba-VB] vb.net vs c#.net

IME, I have observed the elitist preference for C# in the marketplace, and
the dimunition of Vb.NET in the same marketplace. There are a few
differences, AFICS, but there are translators to overcome this. That said,
almost all that is required to move from VB to C# is a bunch of
semi-colons. But the marketplace seems to regard these as worth at least
$20 an hour more income. So I have dived into C#. Most of the transition
has proved trivial.
