[dba-VB] .Net 4 Parallel library

Has anyone found a really good book, article or web site explaining the parallel stuff from scratch? 
  I am finding "snippits" if you will on the web and it seems to be simple enough to actually start 
there but a really good really in-depth article taking it from the top would be much preferable.

And I hate training videos for more than a "flyover" of a capability.
