An aside: It seems that the latest version of ASP.Net, even though it is fighting a reputation of being a slow server programming language (PHP and Ruby would also be considered slugs without their compilers), it is being opened to the public and it might be an interesting addition to a skill portfolio: http://weblogs.asp.net/scottgu/introducing-asp-net-5 Its default IDE is VS of course.
