Hi Gustav --
The alternatives look interesting, especially DotVMM (for me).
Although I'm learning Angular 4 here and as I have got to develop a real life project using Angular 4 for FE and ASP.NET Core/MS SQL for back-end.
As for Silverlight (Lightswitch's engine) - I have a Silverlight/RIA Services web app working for 1.5 years in a large local corporation. So far - no any issues.
