Did it cached the password while dooing that?
You should try that again after closing and opening Access again...

IF I password DB1, open DB2 and try to link the tables from DB1, it asks
me for the password... cool!

But if I open DB3 and try to link the tables in DB2 that are linked to
DB1, it asks me for nothing... not cool!

Guess I missed the point of passwording databases. Is this an oversight?
