Sorry, but Partition came in with A2k. You can't use it in 97, along
with Replace(), Split(), Join(), etc.

Subject: [AccessD] Partition Function A97

Shouldn't the following SQL work in A97? I can get the Partition
function working in a loop in a test module but not when I try to run it
against a table. I'm running this against the Northwind Orders table to
test and get "This expression is typed incorrectly or is too complex..."
error anytime I try to use Partition in a query. Works fine in A2K
though.

<sql>
SELECT DISTINCTROW Partition([Freight],0,1000,50) AS Range,
Count(Orders.Freight) AS Count FROM Orders GROUP BY
Partition([Freight],0,1000,50); </sql>
