[AccessD] Disabling Mouse Wheel Scrolling on a Form in A97

Hello Group:

I don't know if I'm being particularly obtuse about this or not, but I want
to disable the ability of the user(s) to scroll to a new record (or any
record if necessary-already have navigation setup for them on the form)
using the mousewheel. Because of the way this form is set up (no, I didn't
do it...well, not ENTIRELY, anyway...), a lot of checks have to be made
before leaving the current record and going to a new one.

I found on M$'s support how to do this in A2k internally, but,
unfortunately, it's NOT translatable (may not be a real word...) backwards
to A97. There was also an article there about how to do this in A97, but it
required creating an external dll file which would then have to be
registered on each machine. Definitely NOT the preferred method imho.

Does anyone know of (or have?) how to do this? Again, I may be completely
on the wrong track on how to do this, and if so, feel FREE to correct my
aim...!!

Any help/advice would be GREATLY appreciated!! TIA.
