Ok, here's the deal. After repairing OXP, the re-installing OXP, I got to looking at the forms in notepad. The ones that were giving me problems had a "VersionRequired =20" string in it. The others had a 17. In looking at the database open, it was opened as a 2000 format db. Not the 2002 version it was supposed to be. So apparently the crash reset the version info in the database. Hi all, Yesterday I was happily working away in my db when AccXP crashed and wanted to send information to MS. After this event happened, it kept happening. Seeing as how everything had already been checked in to SS, I proceeded to build db from SS. I started getting errors on many of the items that I had been working on. XP created a text file for each item that it could not import into Access. Each file has the following text: Error encountered at line 1. This object was created with a newer version of Microsoft Access than you are currently running. I did a repair on my OffXP installation, but no help. I'm thinking that it might be an issue with SS, but I'm not sure. In the .SCC file that SS creates, Explorer shows .ACF files with a type of "Microsoft Agent Character File (HTTP format)". If that helps any. Has anyone ever ran up against this? Or anyone have any ideas on how to fix it?
