I would imagine that part of this lies in the collection of classes/libraries/object that a master C++ programmer would have in their arsenal. I can't imagine that you would say this if a C++ programmer had to start with absolutely nothing. I would also think the same would hold true for most language masters. RAD development is not really a fair comparison between C++ and Access because Access includes so many classes/libraries/objects that are pre-made to start with. As for second graders writing Access apps - that I have never seen. Second graders here are doing keyboard skills and learning to use pre-made applications. Do Russian kids really learn to develop Access Apps?
