Hi Karen: There is a program that can be downloaded from Macromedia that scans pictures properties, once uploaded and can determine the size. I used it on a site, designed in cold-fusion, that would prompt a user to re- and re-send set their picture if it was too large. I can not remember the details but will look it up if it sounds like what you need. We are using Irfanview and VoloView, but the users contend that the still need to use AutoView for files that have a .dxg or .dxf file type. We have no control over the drawing files that are submitted to us as they come from all over the world from over 100 manufacturers. Put on your thinking caps and keep telling good jokes. -- AccessD mailing list AccessD at databaseadvisors.com http://databaseadvisors.com/mailman/listinfo/accessd Website: http://www.databaseadvisors.com
