[AccessD] Programmatically add chart to Access 97 report

I need to programmatically (VBA) add a line chart/ graph to an Access 97 report from data contained in a table.

Does anyone know of any "canned code" to accomplish this?  I found code to modify graphs in Access 97 and to create charts in Access 2000+, but had no luck finding how to actually create one in A97.
