Hey, I am out in the boonies on a Pacific Island too, but I am only 200 miles from Redmond as the crow flies. You can order a CD for $7.50- $10 AUD and a one week turnaround. You don't have access to phone upload, satellite download ? or even two-way satellite from BigPond? Their coverage footprint should go that far north. Hughes covers US, Hawaii, Mexico and parts of Canada You would get 512k/256k speeds for what you are paying. Or is there some other policy or installation glitch? http://my.bigpond.com/internetplans/broadband/satellite/2_way_plans/default.jsp Stuart McLachlan wrote: >On 29 Jul 2006 at 10:59, MartyConnelly wrote: > > > >>For you starving students out there. >> >>Woodyswatch has stated that there will be a $1.50 fee to download >>each of the Office 2007 Betas starting 6PM PST Aug 2. >> >> > >Big deal.... > > > >>The downloads are between 500MB for Office to 250MB for MS Project >> >> > >That would cost me between $150 and $75 in download charges.
