...look for the free e-mail97 download ...you'd have to modify the code of 
course but I think its all there ...using outlook if installed ...else pure 
mapi ...attachments either way.

...as for the "call home" app, this would appear to just be an extension of 
standard functionality updating fe's from a server versioning mdb using ftp 
instead ...code to manage ftp from access is readily available.
