From my standpoint I have reached the point where the books I buy have specific solutions/techniques rather than "the wonderful world of Access" tutorials that are more prolific than kudzu. I seem to be a big O'reilly customer these days. John, one of my favorite Access books is the Access Cookbook. It identifies a problem, discusses it and provides the solution. I think this format is ideal for a framework book since it can be broken down into digestable, ready to use chunks. It teaches the developer techniques but also provides ready made code solutions.
