Hey Rocky
If the subform grabs the focus when you change tabs then  it becomes a 
form with focus and your FKeys don't fire.  Ran into this a couple of 
years ago,  I think it was when I wanted to allow a user to navigate 
through the records but remain in the current tab and not return to the 
first tab each time they pressed next or previous.
