The lbd is located in the same directory as the mdb. Therefore, unless the CD is a CDRW it won't work. Have the client copy the mdb to the hard drive and then run it. Most of the time when the mdb is copied from a read-only CD, it's also read-only. If that is the intent (that is, keep it read-only) then nothing needs to be done. If you want the mdb to be read-write then looking at the properties of file will reveal the read-only checkbox is checked. Uncheck the it and you're good.
