Arthur, do you know if either of the these products work with Access XP as
VSS does?  That is, can you check out forms, reports, etc?

SCC Bridge is a free download from gotdotnet. It's got issues but it's free.
Source Off Site costs money but is way better. At the firm that I'm
contracting with currently, we use it for everything. I think that the
physical server is in Chicago, but people all over the world use it. In our
case, there's a VPN token, but once in you're in and it's amazingly fast.
