Well, that's interesting. Thing is, the card is brand new. :( But, that
doesn't mean it isn't defective -- that could be true.

In my case, it's always meant the card was about to give up the ghost and I
had found the one reader that realized it early.  Get a replacement BEFORE
it stops working everywhere.
