Sorry Michael, I did not read down far enough, to where they mention the "file duplication". So this is a Windows Home Server specific bug. I had been reading about a very similar "bug" which is not a bug at all. In the end this (soon) won't affect me anyways as I am going to do a hardware raid solution in order to fix a real "bug" in WHS which is that you may lose backups if you lose a hard disk. Raid solves that, and in the process makes the shared folder backup concept unnecessary. I just ordered a hardware raid controller. I have a set of (8) 320 gb hard drives that I need to upgrade slowly to 1 tbyte drives. So I am going to move these 320 gb drives over to WHS (on a raid card) and get some more use out of them.
