I have encountered differences between mdbs and mdes on A2K3 and WXP where the mdb would run and the mde would fail. The only way I was able to trace it down was to put message boxes in the code after every line - MsgBox "Point 1", MsgBox "Point 2", MsgBox "Point 3", etc. Eventually I found a problem in the code that DIDN'T (!) raise an error in the mdb but failed in the mde. Access. Ya gotta love it. Not much help I know but that's my only experience with this. When I try to export any report to RTF, I get an error that Access is shutting down. On a second computer running Vista/Access2007, I get the error "Object variable or With block variable not set". (Not sure why there are different responses.) Non-compiled version of the database exports without an error on Vista/Access2007 machine. Either compiled or non-compiled database on the same computer in Access2003 exports fine. Either compiled or non-compiled database on a WindowsXP/Access2000 machine exports fine. Unfortunately, I don't have Access2007 on a non-Vista computer at the moment. Does anyone have any experience with this?
