Thanks Andy and gustav -----Original Message----- From: accessd-bounces at databaseadvisors.com [mailto:accessd-bounces at databaseadvisors.com] On Behalf Of Gustav Brock Sent: 29 January 2008 10:49 To: accessd at databaseadvisors.com Subject: Re: [AccessD] email and pdf Hi Richard We routinely install the free PDF writer (using Ghostscript) "FreePDF XP" on all client machines because everybody asks for this feature. It installs easily and uses the Apple Postscript printer driver of Windows, so no questions about the validity of the generated files. It can be found here: http://freepdfxp.de/fpxp.htm When you print, a popup lets the user select to send the pdf as an attachment via your e-mail client: http://freepdfxp.de/fpxpscreenshots2.htm It's in German but the installer allows you to select English for the user interface. /gustav >>> R.Griffiths at bury.gov.uk 29-01-2008 11:17:14 >>> Hi Not been doing a lot of MS Access recently, but have now a request to add this functionality to a A97 database......... save reports to pdf format and then email. How easy is this?
