Sorry, another note. I'm not an OS partisan, but running Windows XP Pro and MS Access (any version) in a VMWare Fusion virtual machine on my new Macbook (2.1Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo) is noticeably faster than Win XP/Access on my 18 month old Toshiba Intel T2650 1.6Ghz. WARNING: REALLY OT COMMENT FOLLOWS I can remember when running an IBM 360 in IBM 1401 emulation mode ran slower than the 1401. Doug Steele
