[AccessD] emailing from a DOD based program

Hi Darren:

Thank you very much for your info.

Since I sent out the email I have been scanning the internet for the best
product. I looked at FEBOOTI and it looked great but it seems that BLAT
might be better regardless of the price.

Do you have any comments and further suggestions? That would be greatly
appreciated as I have no experience with any similar product and the time
line for getting the implementation completed is very tight.

If anyone else has experience with BLAT for an actual DOS command line
sample/pseudo sample would be greatly appreciated. Note; port 25 is
unavailable, of course, but the ISP does support direct access to their
email server (smart host).

Regards
Jim

Hi Jim

Does the MailTo: tool work from a DOS prompt?

There is a tool called Febooti Command Line Email app - about $45. Not sure
how
good it is but I imagine it is fully configurable. It has a free trial
period -
No I'm not associated with them - Saw the product and thought it might be
useful

Hi All:

Does anyone know a method to email from a DOS based POS program running
within a standard XP shell? The DOS based app can exit to the command prompt
and can even run some command apps but little more.
